Riley Keough’s romance with stuntman Ben Smith-Petersen is a Hollywood fairy tale come true after they met on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road.

“We only started dating after we did re-shoots in Australia because the crew is smaller and I got to meet him,” Keough — the daughter of the late Lisa Marie Presley and ex-husband Danny Keough, who also shared late son Benjamin Keough — recalled to USA Today in April 2016. “Two weeks into dating him, we were at a gas station and I was like, 'I could see myself having kids with this person.’ It was kind of like I knew I was meeting my husband. It was very cool.”

She added at the time: “We’re obsessed with each other, but it was deeper than that. I always felt comfortable around him … [and] always wanted to be near him, even from the beginning.”

Nearly two years later, Smith-Petersen proposed in August 2014. They wed one year later in Napa, California.

Riley played one of the wives of Hugh Keays-Byrne’s Immortal Joe in Mad Max: Fury Road, where Smith-Petersen was hired as a stuntman. When the production did reshoots in Australia, the twosome quickly bonded during downtime.

After Smith-Petersen confirmed their engagement, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that they are “perfect for each other.”

A second insider added at the time: “[I am] so happy for them. They joked about having a dog 'baby' together now and how it was just a matter of time until they made it official.”

Us confirmed the pair wed on February 4 in a romantic Napa, California, ceremony, surrounded by their celebrity pals including Kristen Stewart, Dakota Johnson and Cara Delevingne.

“Everything is better coz of u,” Smith-Petersen captioned a selfie with his wife.

The couple shared a smooch during a beach getaway.

After the Triple Frontier stuntman needed hip surgery, he praised his wife for taking charge of his recovery. “I’m so thankful to have you every day but especially today. Appreciate was. I love you,” he captioned hospital selfies via Instagram.

“Hippy borfday, you are very sweet & I am very stupid & we are both borderline old now & I love you a lot,” Smith-Petersen captioned a birthday tribute to Riley.

The married pair were all smiles during a London vacation.

“Me ❤️ u,” the actress captioned an Instagram post as she cuddled her man.

They took in the sights on a Grecian getaway.

Us confirmed on January 22 that the twosome had secretly welcomed their first child, a baby girl, after Smith-Petersen hinted at her arrival during Lisa Marie’s Graceland funeral.

“Thank you for showing me that love is the only thing that matters in this life. I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me, the way you loved my brother and my sisters,” the athlete said at the time, reading aloud Riley’s eulogy. “Thank you for giving me strength, my heart, my empathy, my courage, my sense of humor, my manners, my temper, my wildness, my tenacity. I’m a product of your heart.”

The married couple stepped out at the Los Angeles premiere of Daisy Jones & The Six, their first red carpet since Lisa Marie’s death.

Riley confirmed at the time that her spouse will make a brief cameo in the series. “I don't want to spoil it, but the producers thought it would be funny if he was in that scene,” she gushed to Entertainment Tonight. “They were like, 'Do you want Ben to do this?' And I was like, 'Yeah, that's hilarious.’”

While joking about a premonition she had about her role as the title character of Daisy Jones & the Six, the actress recalled other moments she's predicted successfully. "I don't see the future, but I know certain things are going to happen," she said on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. "Like, when I met my husband, he came out of the gas station on our second date and I thought, 'I'm going to marry him and have kids with him.'"

She added: "I just knew. We didn't even say 'I love you' yet. ... I thought, 'If I tell him now, he will leave me here in Australia at the gas station.'"

Keough looked like an Oscars trophy in a glittered cutout dress as she stepped out with her husband at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. While Elvis didn’t take home any awards at the 95th annual Academy Awards, the couple were all smiles while celebrating the big night. She got ready for the festivities with Daisy Jones and the Six costars Suki Waterhouse and Camila Morrone.

Riley attended her first Emmy Awards on January 15 to celebrate her nomination for Daisy Jones & The Six, where she stunned in a black Chanel gown. She brought husband Smith-Petersen and grandmother Priscilla as her two red carpet dates.
